SHOWCASE DETAILS

The 2012 Showcase will again be played at Mike Sansone Park in Plant City Florida. The complex features 2 full size game fields that were formerly used for spring training by the Texas Rangers. The park also provides 1 additional practice field, as well as, 4 batting tunnels.

The event serves a variety of purposes for the different teams in the NCBA. Some teams use the event to play teams from across the country that they would otherwise not get to compete against. Some teams are looking to solidify their line-up before the conference season starts. Still other teams look to bond the team together in order to compete for a National Title. Whatever your goal in attending the showcase may be, the NCBA is able to help you towards your goal.

COSTS

A one time non-refundable entry fee of $100 ($300 for non-NCBA member teams) is due along with a $200 performance bond and scheduling request on November 15th. The performance bond will be returned at the conclusion of the event if the tournament guidelines are followed and surveys are turned in. Final payment of game charges of $115.00 per game and practice charges of $25.00 per hour are to be received no later than January 31st.

Teams are encouraged to contact the NCBA to discuss the price range goals for your trip. By setting goals, the NCBA will be able to help you look at potential fundraising opportunities for your trip, as well as, ways to eliminate expenses.
